THE SMALL PRINT, IN HUMAN
A little privacy.
Public website · Updated October 19, 2026
This notice covers dogepound.com. Our separately hosted games have their own privacy notice and terms.
Explore without an account.
You don’t need to sign in, connect a wallet or upload pet information to use this public website. My Doge is an optional member area. Signing in there asks for an Ethereum message signature, never a transaction, payment, recovery phrase or NFT approval.
Anonymous site statistics.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages and experiences people enjoy and which media fail to load. We measure aggregate visits and actions such as following an outbound link, opening archive media, and starting or finishing a film. An outbound click is not proof that someone followed an account.
We remove query strings and fragments from the URLs sent by our integration. We don’t include search text, editorial notes, wallet addresses, names, email addresses or pet information in custom events. Vercel processes basic browser/device, referral and approximate location information to produce aggregate statistics. Its analytics uses a short-lived request hash rather than tracking cookies. Read Vercel’s explanation.
Our integration respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals. You can also turn these site statistics off below. Hosting providers may separately keep operational/security logs when serving files.
Your choice.
Your browser controls whether the analytics script can load.
What stays in your browser.
Your analytics choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. The separate editorial tool stores film picks and notes in the browser and exports them only when you choose to copy or download them. These choices don’t sync between devices.
Links leave the room.
X, Discord, OpenSea, the rescue and the game have their own policies. Opening their pages sends your visit to those services. Some original archive images load from X’s image servers; their hosts can receive ordinary file-request information. No social follow or membership is verified just by opening a link.
Your private My Doge profile.
If you sign in to My Doge, we store your wallet address, verified collection inventory, selected character, display name, saved room outfits, achievement progress and verification records, and any scrapbook links, titles and notes you add in our private member database, hosted on Neon. You may optionally add your pet’s name, breed, age and photo. Photos are resized and re-encoded as JPEGs in your browser before being uploaded; we do not publish them. A wallet address and NFT ownership are already public on Ethereum, but your member profile and pet photo are not a public directory.
Sign-in uses a short-lived, domain-bound message. An essential, secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days; a separate sign-in challenge cookie expires after five minutes. You can sign out to revoke your current session. We do not run site analytics on My Doge or its embedded room.
Personal scrapbook notes are private to your signed-in account and are included in your data export. We do not fetch or embed the links you add, or send your personal memories to site analytics. Previews for matching public archive posts use the original archive images. Opening a saved link takes you to its original host.
Your chosen wallet provider handles the connection and message signing. Choosing MetaMask’s app/QR option loads MetaMask Connect and its relay services; its SDK analytics is disabled in our configuration. Choosing “Continue with MyDoge” loads the DogeOS SDK and MyDoge’s wallet and authentication services. You can connect through the MyDoge app or its supported sign-in methods. MyDoge handles any email/social login you choose; this website receives the wallet account and signed message, and does not receive your social password or recovery phrase. These services may retain their own connection preferences and sessions. Read DogeOS’s privacy policy. We use Ethereum RPC services to check original Doge/Puppy ownership and transfer history. These services can receive normal connection information and the public wallet address being checked. They have their own privacy policies.
Collection trophies use checked Ethereum ownership and original NFT trait metadata. The optional holding trophies also check public transfer logs and transaction receipts; a fresh ownership check confirms the collectible is still in your wallet. We save verification timestamps, progress and relevant evidence with your private member profile. Two club milestones record a completed welcome or three distinct saved official archive memories. These milestones stay earned after later profile edits or memory removal. Trophies are display achievements, not token rewards or donation receipts. If evidence cannot be verified, a trophy remains not checked.
From Your profile, you can download your saved data or delete your profile, pet photo, outfits, scrapbook memories and saved achievement records. Deletion signs out every member session and does not affect NFTs in your wallet. We ask for a fresh sign-in before deletion. Your data stays saved until you delete it; encrypted recovery copies expire within 14 days. Native database recovery history may persist for up to six hours. My Doge does not verify donations, rewards or quest completion.
